Areas of Law
John specialises in family and commercial law. John is a well known figure in the family courts and has represented his family law clients for over 27 years. In commercial transactions John has represented clients ranging from those taking on their first commercial lease to those selling their valuable shareholding in limited liability companies. John also deals with the sale and purchase of residential and commercial property.
Background
John qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and set up in business as a sole practitioner in 1985. Before turning to the law, John spent two years working as an apprentice auctioneer which gave him his first interest in property.
Education
John was a student of St. Fintans CBS, Sutton, Gormanston College, Co. Meath and the Law Society of Ireland.

Brian Kirwan BCL (UCD)
Areas of Law
Brian practices in all areas of litigation with a particular interest in Personal Injury Law. He has acted in many high profile cases involving medical negligence, asbestosis and industrial accidents. Brian has a large family law practice and has acted for many high net worth individuals, business owners and their spouses in family law proceedings.
Background
Brian has been practising as a solicitor since 1979. Prior to setting up the partnership, Brian acted for a large Trade Union for many years. Brian is well known in Dublin GAA circles and is a former Chairman of Scoil Ui Chonaill GAA club.
Education
Brian studied at O’Connells CBS, University College Dublin and the Law Society of Ireland.

Robert Ryan BBS (DCU) Post Graduate Dip Legal Studies (DIT)
Areas of Law
Robert advises primarily on litigation, employment law, family law and company law.
Background
Robert has been with the firm since 2004 and completed his legal training with us. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Robert worked in finance for a large multi national company and a leading financial services company.
Education
Robert studied at St. Pauls College, Raheny, Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology and the Law Society of Ireland.
